With 25+ years of experience in teaching, designing and developing exceptional learning experiences, I offer instructional design, curriculum design, eLearning content development, multimedia creation, video production, professional voiceover services, LMS support, and localization services for global educational and corporate training needs.
My Story
As the years go by, and the technology and learner experiences evolve, so do we as teachers, instructional designers, and training content developers. I started out as a French and German teacher, then in 2003, I moved to France to open a European Subsidiary for an American Software company as European Business Development Manager.
In 2004, I opened Language Solutions in Europe, offering face-to-face Business English training and translation services. With a focus on EFL and Business English, I rebranded myself and my team as Business English Guru, offering corporate training, seminars, and off-the-shelf courseware.
By 2013, I was loving digital content development and quickly started my first eLearning company called Lean Learning Lab to cover all eLearning content development needs. After returning to the USA in 2019, I opened LXD Studio and ARA Studios LLC, offering my vast Learning Experience skill sets to companies worldwide.

Where my eLearning Journey Began
My first eLearning project was developing digital content for Industry-specific English Language Learning CD-Rom workbooks in 2006. In Germany, I published 1800+ pages of training content for the EFL/ESL industry for both students and teachers with Cornelsen Verlag gmbH. Moreover, I published a complete set of 17 teacher trainer books for teaching Business English and technical English for instructor-led training highlighting engaging and communicative activities.I also patented my Business English Board game called Perform! In English.
I’m a Passionate Musician
I’m a semi-professional saxophone player (Tenor, Alto, Baritone, and Soprano) and have played in professional bands and jazz bands in the States and in Germany. I currently volunteer playing baritone sax in two community bands in Ohio (and yes, the bari is bigger than I am!).
I’m an Enthusiastic Cook
I have always loved cooking, so in 2022, I took my recipe creating passion to a new level by starting a recipe website to not only keep track of all of my inventions, but to share them worldwide.
